Bill Leisy, President
Bill has over 30 years of construction related experience. His legacy in the building industry extends back to teaching high school woodworking, carpentry and drafting before becoming a partner in a scenic design company in 1985. In addition to his B.A. degree in Industrial Education, Bill also holds a General Contractor license and a Landscape Contractor license. Bill started his own construction business, William Leisy Construction Co., in 1992 which transitioned into the full-service construction business of Masterworks Construction Services, Inc. in 2005.
Debbie Marr-Leisy, Admin & Finance Manager
In keeping with his belief in the power of education, Bill has continued his professional development, receiving his Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Green Professional, and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist status from the National Association of Home Builders. Bill remains at the forefront of Masterworks; he will be the first Masterwork’s face you will meet. Bill’s ongoing commitment is to be a role model in the construction industry for integrity, quality, trust and client satisfaction. He has been featured in the Tips from the Experts section of Long Beach – South Bay Home Improvement Magazine.
Debbie is the glue that holds the office side of the business together. She is responsible for ensuring all the systems at Masterworks (estimating, job costing, account billing, collections, financing, production and marketing) are standardized and integrated so that information flows smoothly between departments. She also is a crucial communication link between our field staff, trade partners and clients. Her position is a change from her previous career as a research chemist, but has enriched Masterworks' ability to maintain exemplary client satisfaction through efficient and accurate processes. As Bill's wife, Debbie has been an integral part of Masterworks and William Leisy Construction Co. from its formation, more recently adding value as Controller since 2003.
The Field Crew
Our field crew is the backbone of Masterworks. They are the ones that truly “transform your environment”. Each crew member has a minimum of four years experience in construction and takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of his work from wall framing to finish carpentry. Understanding that they are working in someone’s personal home or office, the crew is courteous and respectful of both you and your property. They have a commitment to integrity, quality, trust, and client satisfaction.
Depending on the scope of work of the project, it may be necessary to bring in specialty trades such as drywall or plumbing to fulfill the project. Masterworks has long standing relationships with its trade partners (subcontractors), many for over fifteen years. They are the “cream of the crop” in their fields. We consider our trade partners as part of our crew when they work on our jobs and they will treat you and your property with the same care and respect.
